    The cases presented are somewhat graphic though I have attempted to minimize the technical aspects in the interest of not bogging down the reader with too much information. Since this is a work of nonfiction I have not spent a great deal of time with character development choosing instead to present the patients in much the same way an ER doctor sees them.
