    Placher begins with a decisive transition, the Reformation of the sixteenth century, and opens with an excerpt from Martin Luther's "The Freedom of a Christian."     This is a fresh translation of the Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostem and is published as a parallel Greek and Emglsih text.
