This is the First Book in the My Monster Learns To Read Series. Work through this series of books and you will be able to teach your child to read and give them a massive head start. There are 3 Sight Word books in Level 1 (single words and pictures) and each book covers 7 different areas. The books in the Learn to Read series are all numbered, so start at Book 1 and continue working through them. Level 2 books (there are also 3 books at this level) and they also contain Sight Words, but instead of single words, they are combined into short phrases and simple sentences. A picture accompanies each phrase or sentence...making it easier for your child to read. Level 3 books move onto the Sounds Of The Alphabet, Phonics and Word Families.
