An Unforgettable Love

Jerry Cole - 2019
He has plenty to do, being the head ranger of the Tahoe National Forest, but living alone in a cabin in the middle of the woods isn’t exactly the most riveting life. He’s known excitement, too. For many years he served as a sniper in the marine corps, but a devastating shoulder injury has reduced him to civilian duties. These days, a walker’s twisted ankle or a trapped raccoon is about as exciting as it gets. Nothing can prepare him, though, for the day he comes across a man lying in the middle of a lonely forest road. The man is alive, but he’d certainly been left for dead. When he wakes up in the hospital, it becomes obvious that he’s suffering from amnesia. With nothing to identify him save for the huge angel tattoo that spreads across his shoulders, the hospital staff name him Gabriel, and tell Hopper that with nowhere else to send him, once he’s recovered from his injuries he’ll have to be sent out into the world. Against his better judgement, but always a sucker for swarthy looks and piercing blue eyes, Hopper agrees to allow Gabriel to stay with him. Perhaps, together, they can work at finding out who this mystery man is, why he was left lying in the forest, and who could possibly have attacked him so badly. What Hopper can never prepare himself for is how deeply he will fall for this handsome stranger, and how he will be able to let Gabriel go when the past, as it always does, comes to catch up. My Dragon Prince

Rowan Porter - 2018
DAMON Not to be a snob, but everything about humans is boring and tedious. That should have been my first clue something was different about James Bennett. I'd spent too long already in the mortal realm. My senses were dulled; as was my desire to do anything but find our queen's long-lost heir. It had seemed so simple when I first volunteered for this quest. I hadn't counted on the modern world being so mundane. In contrast to that gray backdrop, James was the only spark of living color. Too bad he hated my guts from the start. To be fair, I tend to provoke him without trying. I’m drawn to him, driven to throw fuel on the flame and see what ignites. The passion that flares in him when he’s spoiling for a fight. It’s been so long since I’ve been near fellow dragons; I try and evoke their semblance anywhere I can. Except suddenly dragons are everywhere. Rivals are spoiling for fights of their own; each determined to bring honor to their clan. And James is caught in the middle, witness to a scene not meant for mortal eyes. Too fearless to turn away from me even now that he knows what I am. Only then do I realize, he might be everything I’ve spent years searching for, in more ways than one. JAMES Stop me if you’ve heard this before. The new guy at work is tall, sexy, oozing with menace and mystery. He’s also a total jerk. Who happens to change into a dragon. Yeah, that last part threw me too. As did everything that came after. One minute I’m following my obnoxious coworker to give him a piece of my mind. The next? Dragons. Fighting. Us? Running. Him? Asking painful questions about my past, only to have more answers than I do. Answers I’ve spent my whole life searching for. The very way he’s looking at me now, with a desperate intensity like hunger, want, need. All rolled into an insatiable desire to consume and possess. And the more I feel the heat of his gaze upon me, the more there’s only one thing I want, one thing that matters. And it’s not answers. My Dragon Prince is a standalone M/M Dragon Shifter romance featuring two sexy men who can’t help but be attracted to one another. 18+ only please.

Mr. Harcourt and the Hurricane

K. Sterling - 2017
Harcourt And The Hurricane is a spin-off from the Lavender Series but is thoroughly enjoyable on its own.** After a scrape with the authorities, Reginald finds himself trapped in his own hell by a hurricane. He's stranded without a computer, a decent cocktail and the only other man alive who finds him resistible. A corpse and a mystery transforms a peaceful holiday into just the sort of puzzle Reginald can't resist. Can he solve the mystery without creating more chaos or putting his life in danger? Hayes held up his bottle and winked before he took another drink. He sighed contentedly as he leaned back on his elbow and Reginald damned his eyes for drifting down his chest and washboard stomach. He coughed softly as he looked around then nodded when his eyes settled on the ocean. “I think I’ll go for a swim,” Reginald announced as he turned and got his knees beneath him. He crawled until he was out of the halo of light surrounding the fire then scrambled to his feet. He swatted at his hard-on, trying to coax it into a more discreet configuration as he stumbled down the beach. “That’s not a good idea,” Hayes warned as he rolled onto his stomach then pushed himself off the ground. He teetered as he straightened then staggered after Reginald. “The water’s really cold and the current’s still too strong,” he called and Reginald flailed his arms dismissively. He was still holding his bottle and rum splashed on his chest and arm. He winced and mumbled at the bottle apologetically before he licked his wrist clean. He attempted to run his tongue along his forearm to his elbow but it wasn’t long enough. “I can’t lick my elbow!” Reginald complained and there was a snorting giggle from Hayes. “You’re not supposed to. Humans can’t lick their own elbows,” he explained and Reginald squeezed an eye shut so he could see his elbow. “Nonsense,” he argued then tossed the bottle aside. “I’m sure I’ve licked my elbow at least a hundred times,” he said as his neck, chin and tongue stretched toward his elbow as he turned in a circle like a dog chasing its own tail. Ice cold water washed over his feet and he gasped as the sand sunk beneath him before a wave knocked his legs out from under him. “I told you!” Hayes howled as he hugged his bottle to his chest and stomped into the water after Reginald. It was frigid, frothy and salty and Reginald shut his eyes and mouth as he relaxed and let the water carry him back. He could practically feel the steam coming off his body. “Get up!” Hayes ordered as his hand locked around Reginald’s wrist. “I needed that,” Reginald said as he was pulled to his feet. A larger waved rolled toward them and Hayes braced himself. Reginald reached for Hayes’ shoulder just as he was thrown against him. He groaned as he crashed into Hayes’ hard, lean frame. “I did not need that,” he muttered and Hayes swore as he steadied Reginald. “Can we go back now?” He asked and Reginald nodded as he let Hayes turn him toward the fire. Hayes locked an arm around Reginald’s chest and tugged him out of the water. Reginald hummed happily and draped his arm over Hayes’ shoulder as they danced up the beach. “You know, I don’t think I can lick my elbow,” Reginald decided and Hayes snorted before he took another drink. “I know I can lick yours,” he said and Hayes groaned. “Do you ever shut up?”
