Dragon Prince
Kelly N. Jane - 2020
Jane and Ashley McLeo take you into a supernatural world that exists right under your nose.Coffee house waitress wasn’t on my list of life-long goals, but it paid the bills. The only thing that really mattered was keeping a low profile.Dead-end jobs where no one paid attention made it easier to avoid awkward questions like, “what do you mean you hear voices inside your head?” No, I didn’t need to end up like Mom. I’d pay our bills no matter what to keep from living on the streets.Everything was going as well as it could, until a hulking man carrying a giant red murse showed up at work. Strange, but hot as hell, he was far too intense for my liking. But just my luck, his was the next weirdo voice that invaded my mind.I tried to ignore him, but when a different creepy guy mentally issued threats against the muscled man, I had to warn him. Didn’t I? After that, things went nuts and now I’m in the middle of a supernatural mission I don’t understand. The weird thing is that for the first time in my life I finally feel like I might fit in someplace—I just need to live long enough to find out why that is.

On the night of her first shift, people came from far and wide to see her transformation from woman to wolf. Her fated mate, who she’d dreamed of more nights than she could count, who’d stolen her first kiss and made butterflies dance in her stomach without end, would also be there. Ready to introduce his wolf to her wolf. Ready to take their now into a life of forever. But no one expected that the night of her first shift would also be the last night of her freedom. There’s no denying that Delina shifted into a beautiful wolf. But sometimes beauty is also a curse. Accompanying her pitch black fur was a line of silver and eyes so blue they shone in the darkness of the night. The elders had seen a wolf like that before. They’d known of its powers, too. Powers that were not of their world. Powers that needed to be destroyed. Even if it meant destroying the Princess in the process. The Rejected is a rejected mate wolf shifter romance for of-age readers. AUTHOR INTERVIEW
Q: Why do you write?
A: When I was a kid, reading was a way for me to escape into magical worlds. I was about twelve years old when I first started writing and making up my own stories. It made me feel like I had a connection to the literary greats. Like I was in some sort of secret magical club. Today, I write to try and capture that magic in hopes to inspire writers and readers alike. To take my readers on a journey. An adventure. An escape. I write to breathe life into characters, to transport readers to fantasy settings, and to hopefully make people believe in magic again.
Q: What books do you write?
A: I write Fantasy and Science Fiction and all of its sub-genres. My current series, Blood and Darkness, is adult Urban Fantasy. I love playing with the real world and spinning it on its head, adding magical elements and creatures to it, and creating worlds within worlds. I keep a very long notebook of story ideas filled with everything from Portal Fantasy, Steampunk, and High Fantasy to Dystopian, Hard Sci-Fi, and Space Opera. BLOOD AND DARKNESS
BLOOD AND MAGIC (book 1)
FLESH AND BONE (book 2)
GODS AND DEMONS (book 3)
Q: Why should readers pick up your books?
A: Blood and Darkness is a fast paced, page turning Urban Fantasy series. If you are a fan of Gothic settings, sexual tension, ancient prophecies, dark magic, and deep rooted mythology, then you will love this series. Ultimately, Blood and Darkness is about love and betrayal, revenge and redemption, and all-out war. From the first page of Blood and Magic to the last, you will not be able to put this series down. These characters will haunt you, their stories will stay with you, and they will leave you wanting more.
