In fact, this book starts with preparations before conception. It gives instructions and therapies that, if followed, help the woman achieve a perfect balance in her body and mind, to help her conceive, and then give birth to a healthy child. The book contains instructions for everything from reading materials, to subjects to be discussed, music and mantras that should be heard by the woman, her food and nutrition needs, and every other aspect that needs care. This book helps the couple right from the stage of planning and preparing for conceiving a child, to the care to be taken throughout the pregnancy, and the care to be met out after child birth. The ancient practices of Ayurveda describe a complete system of therapies for ensuring the mother's health and the child's health, personality, and intellect. Anne of Green Gables: Four Books in One Set

L.M. Montgomery - 1917
Complete with Easy Table of Contents for quick navigation to any book and any Chapter in any of the Four Classic books by Lucy Maud Montgomery.Anne of Green Gables is a bestselling novel by Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery published in 1908. It was written as fiction for readers of all ages, but in recent decades has been considered a children's book. Montgomery found her inspiration for the book on an old piece of paper that she had written at a young age, describing a couple that were mistakenly sent an orphan girl instead of a boy, yet decided to keep her. Montgomery also drew upon her own childhood experiences in rural Prince Edward Island. Montgomery used a photograph of Evelyn Nesbit, which she had clipped from New York’s Metropolitan Magazine, and pasted the framed clipping on the wall of her bedroom, as the model for the face of Anne Shirley, the book's main character.Montgomery also found inspiration in the "formula Ann" orphan stories, the Anns without the e. Other characters, like Gilbert Blythe, were modelled, in part, on real-life characters. Montgomery wrote the novel in the twilight of the day, sitting at her window and overlooking the fields of Cavendish.Since publication, Anne of Green Gables has sold more than 50 million books. In addition, this book is taught to students around the world.

Donald Dell - 2009
As one of the first agents to represent athletes, he's been negotiating mega-deals for almost forty years with a hugely successful record on behalf of stars like Arthur Ashe, Michael Jordan, Jimmy Connors, Patrick Ewing, Stan Smith, and Boomer Esiason. Now Dell shares behind-the-scenes stories of his dealings with some of the most powerful sports owners and executives. He brings the inner workings of the negotiating room to life and offers lessons that readers can apply to their own tough situations. A sample: ? "Never make the first offer" You're not seeking an offer at all; you are seeking information. ? "Business is emotional" If you are less than genuine people will pick up on it, which is much worse than losing your temper every now and then. ? "Know your audience" I finally figured out the key to Jimmy Connors-play to his stubbornness. Don't force Jimmy to do something and he just might do it. ? "Decide what's important" Something extremely important to the other side may be trivial to you, in which case you can gain leverage by giving it to them.
