    The work of Yagyῡ Munenori from 1632 concerns martial arts and military science. It is translated by Thomas Cleary and can be found tucked behind Miyamoto Musashi‘s “the Book of five rings” from 1643. I began working on The Secret Apartment as a memoir to be presented as a collection of short stories Though fanciful, these are true stories based on actual events. This is not the product of my imagination. I didn't have to make anything up.
