    She seems to have lost her memory. He helps the woman and takes her to the town of Hinkle, where she lives. While in Hinkle, a cattle drive comes to town a week earlier than expected. The marshal doesn’t have any deputies yet, so he convinces Jess to hang around and help until his deputies arrive.
