The contracted issues have since been resolved, with BMP taking ownership of the characters and storyline that appeared in the original WaveDancers series (as reflected in the original contract), with WaRP Graphics holding the "WaveDancers" title name.The characters that appeared in the original WaveDancers are in use by their owners BMP, which is currently being explored in the new series called Elf-Fin: Hyfus and Tilaweed, published by BMP in April 2011.http://elf-fin.com/The original WaveDancers as appearing in the original comics cannot be published in full by either party, but may be published in part, up to 50% of the total works.When the vol2 ElfQuest started (after New Blood/HiddenYears/Shards, etc ended and only 1 title was going again) the "new" Wavedancers title was all-new and had nothing to do with these.
