Whole

Aziza Allen - 2018
If we dare to sit long enough for the breaking, still enough for the healing, and open enough for the filling, we can be whole again. Whole is a collection of poetry, reflections, and searingly vulnerable journal entries. A devotional accompanies each poem, inviting the reader to reflect on their own life journey. This anthology is a timely and profound reminder that although love and life can render themselves heartbreaking, pretense- this shame-filled, anemic attempt at masking who we are and what we’re feeling- no longer needs to be our answer. Even in the face of pain, there is hope.
