Haley Pierce - 2017
Or at all. She’s my student, for god’s sake. But she’s so sweet, so innocent, and so, so, bendable to my every whim. Her mother wants her to be a doctor, but Addison? She has no idea what she wants. I’ll help her find out, on one condition: I’m sure as hell going to be a part of it. Because I need her. I need to touch her, to taste her, to invade her soul the way she’s invaded mine. Shakespeare said it best. I am her slave, with no choice to tend to her desires. Whatever they may be. Unlearned is a 50,000 word stand-alone romance novel with no cliffhangers, no cheating and a beautiful HEA.

One pregnancy confirmed. One ballet scholarship lost. He’s here to convince Danny to man up and be there for Karma. But what if this god from Mount Olympus finds himself falling in love with a beautiful dancer from Wisconsin who can never love him in return? This fast-paced debut novel explores the internal & external conflicts of a girl who finds herself inexplicably drawn to a boy who seemingly doesn't reciprocate her  feelings, touching on the issues of love, sex and responsibility, with a heroine struggling to control her destiny--perfect for fans of Katie McGarry's novels and MTV’s 16 and Pregnant.

The Way It Spozed to Be

James Herndon - 1968
This work deals with what is still the root problem of ghetto schools: their failure to reach the kids, their obsession with rote learning, and imposed discipline, which only drives kids further into apathy and rebellion.

Echoes of a Haunting - Revisited

Clara M. Miller - 2009
It tells the story of a family under siege. From the time the Dandy family moved to their "home in the country" in 1970 until they fled it in 1974, they were plagued but unexplainable and terrifying events. When they tell you ghosts can't harm you, take it with a grain of salt. Perhaps they can't affect you directly but they can sure cause incidents that can kill. The book is told in semi-diary form to keep it in (hopefully) order. If you don't believe in the paranormal, you'd better not read this book. If you want to learn something, by all means read it and learn.
