Many of the ideas in this were carried over into the full series, but there are some interesting differences.

    It begins when they first earn their armor and slowly learn the secrets and responsibilities of being Bronze Saints. Their first battle pits them against the Gold Saints (who represent the 12 major signs of the western zodiac) and the evil Regent that has taken over Athena's Sanctuary. Their second battle is against the Marine Generals (who represent the seven great oceans of the world) of Poseidon, and their final battle is in Hell against the Specters of Hades.
