The Five
Nhys Glover - 2017
She was. But she only had her mind-reading magic and some fighting skills to call on. How either could help her against a creature without a mind or a body, she didn’t know. Then there was the idea of marrying four strangers... all right, three strangers and her best friend, Zem. Flea didn’t even like sex! Being raped at fourteen can do that to a girl. And if she could manage the marriage bed, there was even worse to consider—finding a way to love them all and get them to love her. After all, she wasn’t Airsha. She wasn’t a compassionate, caring and lovable person. She barely knew what love was. And this was one situation she couldn’t con her way out of, or through. So, basically, with all things considered, the world didn’t have a chance if it was depending on her to save the day. The Goddess really got it wrong this time!
If you aren’t into love stories with lots of steam don’t read this book. If you aren’t interested in fast-paced, exciting stories with lots of twists and turns, don’t read this book. If you’re open-minded about how love is expressed (at least in fiction) and don’t mind staying up late to read just one more chapter... read this book now! And if you’re ready to add another man into the bedroom, read the next book. Then, if you’re up for more excitement and can handle MMFMM action (one woman four men)—always tastefully done, of course—then read the third book. And if you don’t like steamy sex but do like a great story, speed read through the sex scenes. Just because they’re there doesn’t mean you have to read them, after all!

Birthright
Kit Fawkes - 2017
She doesn’t discover that until the night her father dies, and she learns he wasn’t her father. He kidnapped her as a baby from her birth parents, Jim and Carol Allis. They seem ecstatic to find her, but she quickly learns they, along with their powerful dragon-shifter ally Pytor Douglas, have nefarious plans for her. She runs straight into the arms of another mysterious group, and they tell her she’s a Trueblood—descended from all the mythic races and capable of great power. She’s at risk, but the Council assigns her six bodyguards, and the Oracle has seen her future husband is among the six. North is dragged from realm to realm to learn how to use her powers. That task seems impossible—almost as impossible as choosing just one man from among the six mythics entrusted with her protection. How can she choose between a vampire, an angel, a demon, a witch, a dark elf, and a wolf-shifter when each of the men is perfect for her in different ways? Dare she risk everything and choose them all? Will she have a chance to make the decision, or will Pytor’s group get her first? This is the first in a multi-book series that will require reading in order to understand the plot arc. “Birthright” introduces the characters and has an incomplete ending. The story will continue in the next book (“Fire & Ice”) and so on. It is a PNR reverse harem story, and the heat factor will likely be high in later books, though this one is tame (not even a kiss yet, darn it!).

Renegade Witch
T.S. Bishop - 2018
'Seeing demons and talking to spirits' doesn't make the list of desirable traits in a foster kid, so instead of letting my foster family ship me off to an institution, I ran away at sixteen and I've been on my own in Chicago for three long years. I've finally made a quiet life for myself selling magical items on the black market here, so I most definitely don't want to be noticed by a cabal of dangerous men with knives and guns who toss me in their murder dungeon. And they're not the only ones looking for me. I narrowly escape my prison only to fall into the lives of three gorgeous, sexy boys more dangerous to me than my kidnappers, but for very different reasons... Adrian the leader, the golden boy, with a face that would make Michelangelo weep Dominic the guarded cynic, with scars that won't heal Noah the light-hearted dreamer They're my Bloodsworn and I'm their Witch. Together, we save the city from invading hordes of demons. I'm the source of their power, and theirs to protect. And that goes both ways. There's just one problem: I might be falling for them. That's right, all of them. Then there's the boy I keep dreaming about...the boy with the voice like smoke and eyes like midnight--eyes that haunt me. He's being kept in chains and tortured by the same enemies who want me dead. He's a violent contradiction: vicious and beautiful, frightening and tender. And I'm the only one who can save his life. But I can't even be sure that he's real. With danger snapping at my heels, demons invading the city, and my enemies two steps ahead of me at every turn... My name is Sophia Landry, and I might not be getting out of this one alive. The Mage Craft Series, Books 1-3
S.M. Reine - 2016
Now it's time for her to take her father's place in the world - and pay for his sins. Seth is a doctor as good with a gun as he is with a scalpel. He knows a lot about the preternatural, but he's not saying why. And he's the new Voice of God's only chance of survival. This collection contains the first three books of The Mage Craft Series, amounting to over 210,000 words. About Cast in Angelfire As a half-angel, half-human mage, Marion Garin is the most powerful witch in the world. She’s been embroiled in preternatural politics since childhood and navigates the factions with ease. Or so she’s been told. Unfortunately, she’s lost her memory, and now Marion doesn’t know much of anything. Casting magic? Forget about it. It’s not an accident, either. Someone powerful wanted to take Marion out of preternatural politics, and they succeeded. She’s told that a man named Seth Wilder could help, but she’ll have to find him first. He’s been missing for years. Marion needs to track Seth down and fix her memory before her unknown enemy finishes the job… * * * About Cast in Hellfire Marion Garin is the teenage daughter of Metaraon, the former Voice of God. Now she's also the steward of the Winter Court, which has been in anarchy since a revolution five years earlier. Problem: Marion still doesn't remember anything that happened before two weeks ago. Seth Wilder has a lead on her memories. Whoever stole them and sold Marion's essence to a demon lord in Sheol. Marion wants to help steal them back, even though that means abandoning the Winter Court to war. And Seth can't seem to tell Marion no. He wants Marion nearby. Very nearby. Possibly in his teeth. See, Seth has this little problem where he's developing a killing urge, and it seems to be centered primarily on the half-angel girl who adores him. It conflicts with everything Seth believes himself to be: a moral man, a doctor who heals instead of hurts. Yet he's obsessed with Marion. She wants her memories, and he wants her to have them as much as he wants her blood. They'll work together to make Marion whole, come hell or high water. Even if it means war. Even if it means Seth might hurt Marion. And damned be the consequences... * * * About Cast in Faefire Marion Garin, the Voice of God, is due to marry the Prince of the Autumn Court by the end of the week - assuming that the world's preternatural leadership doesn't have anything to say about it. They plan to strip Prince ErlKonig of his title, ensuring that Marion can't form a god-forbidden treaty with the angels. Still injured from his final fight in Sheol, Seth Wilder is seeking a way to stay alive. If he dies, he'll lose more than his life - he'll be slave to the gods' whims for all eternity. He's ready to take drastic steps. Maybe even make a bargain with the vampires. But what the gods want, they get. And they don't appreciate being defied.
