Dead Dayz

Shaun Whittington - 2017
It is four weeks into the apocalypse, and with his wife and daughter still missing, David is doing his best to keep it together and look after his seven-year-old son Harry. But as the days go by, this task is proving to be getting more difficult. With many obstacles getting in David’s way to protect his son, like avoiding thugs and trying to keep hydrated and fed, he has decisions to make in order for he and his son to survive long term. *********************** A message from the author Please read before downloading In October 2014, I decided to write a little book inbetween the Snatchers series (a little tradition of mine) and began writing a story about a father and son that were trying to survive in the Zombie apocalypse. I called it Dead Dayz In December 2014, I decided to ditch the first draft and concentrate on a new Snatchers book, Snatchers 5: The Dead Don’t Yield. I didn’t like the finished Dead Dayz, but some individuals who had read the book liked the father and son story, so I decided to incorporate it into the fifth Snatchers book. The story was about David Johnson and his son, Harry, (Paul and Kyle Dickson), and I saved the best bits from the Dead Dayz book and put it into the Snatchers book. The following you are about to read is the original Dead Dayz book. If you have read the Snatchers series, then this book still has many parts/chapters that you haven’t read before, but the story will certainly be familiar. And if you haven’t read the Snatchers series before, then everything I have talked about doesn’t matter. Dead Dayz was initially a standalone novel, before it was dissected for the Snatchers 5 book that was eventually released in February 2015, and it seemed a shame to leave it sitting on my hard drive in its original form.

Sky Fall

Logan Keys - 2019
But when it hits the earth, collapsing the grid, it leaves behind an extraordinary sight: the most massive aurora borealis ever seen. Scientists are scared. With the CME comes a crippled infrastructure. Disaster is quick to follow. L.A. accountant Clive Bowman expects a downed grid, and plenty of public hysteria, but as the solar storms increase in size and frequency, the sun continues to dim, casing the earth in a perpetual dark. Without the sun, power, or communications, Bowman and a handful of survivors not only fight for their lives, they work to find those they love, doing so in the hope that humanity itself is not in the midst of its last days. Sky Fall is an edge-of-your-seat thrill-ride written as an episodic series.* This series, created by co-author of the bestselling series Long Fall, follows a group of unlikely survivors and their families as they brave uncharted waters against insurmountable odds and a weather disaster of epic proportions. Sky Fall will leave you breathless wondering, if this happened, could I survive? Well, could you? *Expect one 25,000+ word episode to be released each month.

The Extinction Pandemic (The Hatchery Compound #1)

Grayson Hawkins - 2015
Bryce Sloan was the epitome of the patriotic American. He joined the Army with the vision of action on far away continents. Instead, he was thrust into the job of a Soldier serving stateside and the only action he saw was at military bases across the United States. After his time with the Army was up, he settled down with his family in Arizona, where he intended to live out an average lifestyle, but before he could settle in, the "Outbreak" began. The “Outbreak”, a mysterious illness, quickly began to spread across the country. Before the “Outbreak” could reach critical mass, Bryce had the foresight to prepare his family for the mass exodus to come. He found the perfect sanctuary for his family; a fish hatchery. As the “Outbreak” unfolded, Bryce ran into multiple groups of like-minded people that all sought out a place to call home, and for those who could contribute to the cause, they found sanctuary in the Hatchery Compound.

The Belt: Complete Trilogy

Gerald M. Kilby - 2018
The ship contains an experimental quantum device, lost while en route to a research colony on Europa. On Earth, powerful corporate forces are moving to resume unrestricted, inter-AI communications, their objective being to gain complete dominion over the colonized solar system. But the outer worlds are mobilizing to prevent them from achieving their objective, a fight back which is being led by Solomon, a sentient quantum intelligence (QI), also on Europa. However, once word of the crew’s discovery gets out, they soon realize that ownership of this technology could fundamentally change the balance of power within the solar system, and they now find themselves at the very nexus of a system-wide conflict. Their fight for survival plays out across the solar system, from the mining outposts of the asteroid belt to the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, and from the great Martian city of Jezero to the irradiated wastelands on Earth. This is an epic tale of humanity’s struggle for survival and meaning in a time when artificial intelligence has finally out-paced our own ability to control it. About The Belt: The story is set a century or so into the future where humanity has colonized most of the inner solar system. The asteroid belt (The Belt) is now a hive of mining activity and ships ply the trade routes to Earth and Mars. The technology depicted, for the most part, is what I consider to be technically plausible, although I do stretch it a little with quantum entanglement. That said, you won’t need a calculator or a slide-rule to enjoy the story.

Heath Stallcup - 2014

The park is packed with sight seers and party goers during a benefit concert who are all now fodder for the ancient rage virus. Follow along as Park Rangers and local Sheriff’s find themselves overwhelmed with a park full of infected human cannibals.

The Zombie War Battle for Britain

Tom Holroyd - 2017
No one knows the true figure of those who lost their lives in the long years of the war and tragically too many have lost their lives in the years of peace that have followed. Life expectancy is a shadow of what it was and many diseases and ailments that science thought it had eradicated have returned. Many of those who survived the war have since died, taking with them the stories and memories of the most devastating and important struggle that mankind has ever waged. This book is the record of those stories, an attempt to remember the actions of those who lived through this devastating conflict. From the first stages of the outbreak, to the chaos of the mass panic and finally to the death of the last Infected, it is a homage to those who saved our nation.
