During the Golden Age, Ted Knight, the original Starman, continually found himself in battle with his archnemesis, the Mist. Decades later, this old foe looks to continue this ancient vendetta against the elderly Knight as he returns and takes the life of the hero's oldest son. Now Ted's rebellious younger son Jack is forced into a role that he does not want and has spent a lifetime denying.
