36 Faces: The History, Astrology and Magic of the Decans

Austin Coppock - 2014
That thread is the Decans, a division of the earth’s sky into 36 sections. These 36 ‘Faces of Heaven’ are more than just a curious footnote in the history of archaeo-astronomy. First emerging in ancient Egypt, they have moved with the corpus of Hermetic material, reincarnating in the starry wisdom of culture after culture.Ostensibly a gear in astrology’s encompassing clockworks, the Decans have also long been a key to accessing legions of spirits. For several millennia and in multiple cultures, magicians have looked at these 36 faces and seen gods, choirs of angels, hordes of demons, and a host of daimones staring back at them, each with its own unique powers. Far from going undocumented, this gallery of faces has been painted and drawn by a host of astrologers, sorcerers and artists, and they can be found on walls of Italian villas as well as in the pages of grimoires.Weaving together astrology and magic, divination and sorcery, time and sky, this thread of esoteric history deserves more than the footnotes it has so far received. In this work, Austin Coppock follows the Decans through history, charting their trajectory through time and culture. Using the ring of keys which history provides, the 36 doors are flung open, revealing their mysteries to magician and astrologer alike. Each decan, its image, and its specific powers are examined in detail, as well as its permutations in the planetary aspects. Featuring original images specially created for each Decan by Bob Eames, 36 Faces is an invaluable resource for magicians, astrologers, and historians of magical semiotics.

Seven Spheres

Rufus Opus - 2014
It is designed to be a series of rituals that function on many levels to take an average ordinary magician and turn them into a self-actualized powerhouse of proactive reality engineering. It’s entirely about attaining initiation and empowerment in the highest levels of un-manifest reality. These experiences and rites result in the release of a floodgate of power that pour down through the layers of progressive manifestation, building up awareness, understanding, and ultimately raw potential as you move from sphere to sphere through the rites, ultimately culminating in the anointing of the magician as Priest-King directing the forces that climax in your personal daily experience of the Joy of your life. This book isn’t about physical or spiritual mastery, it is entirely about understanding that you, personally, are beloved, honored, blessed, and highly favored of every intelligence, spirit, angel, and god of every sphere. This is about understanding who you are and what you can accomplish as a human being manifest upon the surface of the Earth. Spiritual enlightenment and material mastery will be yours, if you do the work described.

ESP Wars: East & West: An Account of the Military Use of Psychic Espionage as Narrated by the Key Russian and American Players

Edwin C. May - 2014
Learn the greater story of why these major powers saw fit to put stock in something so many academics dismiss out of turn and what practical value was found for Military and Intelligence operations. Delve into the politics that led to, supported, and eventually shut down the psychic espionage programs – and why the US program, at least, has not been resurrected in light of the events of the first decade of the 21st century. With commentary and insights from the former US program director (Edwin C. May), the Army’s remote viewing agent 001 (Joe McMoneagle) and several Russian military/former KGB officers and experts, ESP WARS gives you an insiders’ view of what really went on, how it happened, and why. This book will be of interest to anyone interested in ESP (especially Remote Viewing), as well as how ESP has been successfully applied in missions of last resort for the Defense Department, CIA and other agencies. The book will especially be of interest to those looking for material on the politics and funding of classified projects, as well as the people participating in them, supporting them, and those with an axe to grind. The Russian (and Soviet) sources present readers with a narrative of the place of psychic abilities in their society and politics, how the KGB was (and was not) involved, how psychics were brought into political decisions and even how psychics ended up in tanks on the front lines in the war in Chechnya. Those interested in international politics will find much to chew on here as well, especially insight into what went on during a number of difficult political situations at the end of the reign of the Soviet Union. Also of great interest is the perspective (and experiences) of our high-ranking Russian sources with regards to the KGB. For a story that transcends merely dealing with the “psychic” in “psychic spying,” for a narrative of politics and classified projects, ESP WARS will hold your attention from start to finish. As a bit of a tease at the end is an appendix with declassified material from the US Star Gate Program.

The Esotericon & Portals of Chaos

Peter J. Carroll - 2014
The concepts with which we began rappidly crystalised around the ideas below:The idea of a 'Chaos Tarot' has periodically surfaced over the years, however the conventional idea of tarot seems far too limiting, and the several attempts to merely introduce Chaoist symbolism into the Conventional tarot format have not proved particularly interesting or groundbreaking.Visual images can convey ideas and speak to our subconscious often far more effectively and more immediately than words. Moveable images on cards also provide many interesting possibilities that a book of images cannot provide so easily. However it seems a waste to confine such a resource to just Divination, when it could also have application to Enchantment, Evocation, Invocation, and Illumination as well. Plus the symbolic systems from which conventional tarot derive and the symbolic systems into which more recent commentators have attempted to fit it, now often have little appeal or relevance. The symbolic systems used in the past to generate or explain the 78 images usually ended up confected in such complex ways that the supposed meanings of the resulting cards bore only a highly etiolated relationship to them. Randomly generated images and meanings would have served the same purpose. The Tree of Life (Naples arrangement), the Hebrew Alphabet, Astrological symbolism, elemental symbolism, alchemical symbolism, numerological ideas and all, make a rather messy 'universal kabala' with little explanatory power. This proposed Portal Deck does not have to have 78 cards; it can have whatever number we deem useful. It would seem nowadays more appropriate to start afresh with something closer to our own physical, psychological and metaphysical maps of ourrealities: -To perhaps consider the relationship between the classical elements of earth, air fire, water and aether and the concepts of mass, energy, space, time and information. To perhaps consider using the 8 colours of magic as the basis of a 'biplanetary' scheme that integrates a neo-pagan pantheon with both the eternal and the current challenges of the human condition. To perhaps consider a replacement of the trancendentalist concepts of the platonic-pagan-monotheist esoteric paradigm with an approach derived from the emerging quantum-neo-pagan esoteric paradigm,by examining what the Lovecraftian perspective of cosmic indifferentism may have to offer.- Elemental Magic- Planetary Magic- Stellar Magic- Magical Cartography- Chaobalistic- Theometric Principles
