    There are many Book of Mormon commentaries and study guides available that give the author’s perspective on the Book of Mormon. This book is not one of them.     Many of the most well known Biblical events can be connected with the number 40. Moses stayed on the mountain with God for 40 days. After Noah built the Ark, it rained for 40 days and nights.
