Tremors course over Troy’s body as the handsome stranger touches him. “I’ve been waiting for you. I don’t know how or why, but I know that you are mine.” As he leans in, he whispers in my ear, “I’m Franco; I am the man you’ve been waiting for, too.” Troy’s life alters irrevocably in that instant as he falls for the handsome, Italian man.As they build their life together Troy and Franco discover true love, a love so deep they can’t be apart.I hold his head against my body and, no longer able to hold back my emotions or my words, I stutter, “I love you,” into his hair as my lips cover his head with kisses. “I love you also, Troy. Better Than Sweets

Lisa Oliver - 2022
They might have separate territories on earth, but when the pack need each other, they are only ever a mind tug away. Java didn't understand why his packmate Raoul was the first to find his mate. In the hellhound pack, they were all equal, and it didn't help that Raoul was so smug about it, snuggling and hugging on the friendly Jason every chance he had. But, Java was determined to find out what Raoul did - there had to be something - and Java was just as capable of doing anything Raoul could've done. It was time. Java had a collar box, just like Raoul had, and his hound was keen to be wearing the contents. They just had to find their mate to get the box open first. Cyril was finding his feet, enjoying his new life in Plaka, as a local shop owner. His sweets were finding favor among locals and tourists alike, and he was busy enough that he didn't notice a lack of a mate too often. He had a crush - the sexy hotel owner from down the road, who strode past his store almost every day, and that was enough to fuel Cyril's dreams, even if it meant he spent his nights alone. He never dreamed that same crush would be the one to save him from a mugging. Hexes and hellhounds from different packs, a collar, a fae, and a naked man falling out of a hotel window. Nothing in their first few days of mating was like Cyril had dreamed of, and even Java wondered how much work it was going to be, keeping his mage mate safe. Especially when the one hunting him had the same sized fangs Java did. Better Than Sweets is the official book one of a new series, The Hellhound Collar series. It is 41,300 words long and includes an HEA. The prequel to this story, Collar and Scruff, is currently part of the Prolific Works Your Book Boyfriend's Boyfriend giveaway (2022). A Shift in Perspective

Kian Rhodes - 2016
"When you were a child, your mother warned you about the dangerous creatures that lived in the forest beyond the fence, didn't she?" I nodded, my arms crossed over my chest. "The fearsome creatures that she warned you of - that she protected you from - do exist." Axel's glittering eyes met mine. "They congregate in these woods for one reason only - you." Et Tu, Axel? I thought to myself as I sighed, long and deep. Barely had their explanation begun and already I anticipated as fanciful a foray into the world of witches, goddesses and magic as any that my mother's oddly creative mind had previously spun. "Me," I repeated, unable to keep a slight sneer from my voice. "Then perhaps I should return to the city once Grandmother is healed." My mother's face took on a self-satisfied smirk at my statement and, strangely, Axel's eyes flared briefly with what I almost would have identified as panic before they returned to normal. "No," Axel said, his calm voice suggesting that I had misread the emotion in his eyes. "You're here now because you are meant to be, destined to be." I stopped short of rolling my eyes but just barely. "I don't believe in destiny," I stated, forgetting myself. "Justin!" Mother gasped my name, quickly moving across the room to light the sage smudge that sat ever-ready to purge the house of bad luck and evil intentions. "I'm sorry, Mother," I murmured. And I truly was. As much as I knew that my mother's superstitions, destiny among them, were groundless, I also knew that she believed most fervently in them. "I know, dear," my mother tamped out the flame, allowing the sweet white smoke to scent the room. "Now, please sit and listen to what the …what Axel has to tell you." Axel twitched an eyebrow at her but turned back to me without comment. "You are special, Justin," he spoke softly but with a commanding edge to his voice. "Incredibly important." Again, I stopped myself from rolling my eyes but this time held my tongue when I would have pointed out that nothing in my life to this point supported that hypothesis. "You are a life giver, Justin." Axel's eyes glittered. "You are Omega." Oh, for heaven's sake. I sat back in my chair, meeting my mother's eyes. Her face was serious. Then I looked to Axel's face which was equally as serious. I shook my head as I joined them on their journey into my mother's imaginary world. "How could I be Omega and not know?" 5% of royalties received from the sale of A Shift in Perspective are donated to The Trevor Project; the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.
