Teaching The Boss

Mallory Crowe - 2015
But when Sam’s girlfriend of the week pushes her too far, April finds herself quitting on the spot with only a mountain of student loan debt to keep her company. In steps Sam’s worst enemy, his father, with a job offer she can't refuse. Sam was born into privilege, but refused to live life with a silver spoon in his mouth. After a decade of hard work, he’s on the verge of taking his business public and proving to his tyrannical family that he can make it without their help. When he finds out that April is working for his father, he knows she’s been turned into a pawn in his father’s twisted games. Despite Sam’s warnings, April is determined to prove she doesn’t need him to make in New York City. But when she finds documents that could lead to Sam losing everything he’s worked for, April realizes that she and Sam have to work together to save the empire they’ve both worked to build. ˃˃˃ Interview with the Author Q – What inspired you to write April and Sam’s story? A – When I first thought of April and Sam, I was working crazy long hours at the time and (strangely enough) a slowed down cover of a rap song made me think of an overworked assistant who starts out totally in love with her Tycoon boss and, by the end of the song, she’s disillusioned by the lifestyle and is ready to branch out on her own. Teaching The Boss starts after this music video I made in my mind. April is just coming into her own and Sam doesn’t really realize how much he needs her until she is gone. And then the billionaire has to bargain to get her back. The shifting power play between the two was a blast to write! Q - Why should readers give these books a try? A – All I can say is that I LOVED writing them and I think readers will really be drawn into the characters. I adore putting two strong leads into tough situations and seeing them work together to grow. For this first book in the series, I took the quintessential office romance, an untamed billionaire and a sexy secretary, and then completely shook up the power structure between the two and saw how they reacted. Throw in a few secrets and revenge plots and the result is explosive…. Q – Why did you choose to set the Billionaires In The City books New York City? A – Because it’s the city of endless possibilities! There are so many different fantastic settings to play with, between the Upper East Side, Soho, Brooklyn and Queens. They’re all so close together and each have distinct personalities that can fit the characters perfectly. But, as much as I love NYC, I’m planning to branch out in the future, so I made sure I didn’t name the city in the subtitle. In book two, the Simon and Grace even take a trip to the Hamptons where they can get into even more trouble! ˃˃˃ Tycoon Billionaire eBook Categories - Billionaire Romance Free Books - Billionaire Obsession - Billionaire Untamed - Billionaire Bargain - Tycoon Series - Tycoons Proposal - Tycoons Secret

My Enemy Next Door

Nicole London - 2018
After the final rude message she wrote in my yearbook, I decided that we didn't need to see each other anymore. (But if we ever did, I would show her exactly why I had every reason to be "cocky," and make her admit that I really *was* "that damn sexy.")Now that it's ten years later, I've graduated from law school at the top of my class, and I'm being recruited to work at the number one law firm in New York City.Since I'm in desperate need of a change and want to meet new people, I don't hesitate to accept the offer.Until I find out that Courtney Ryan graduated from law school, too.Until I realize that she'll be working at the same exact firm, in the office right across from me.And if this timing isn't unfortunate enough, she's far more tempting and sexier than I originally remembered.(Oh, and last night I found out that she lives right next door...)We don't have to be close. We don't have to be best friends. But she's going to pay me back for making us enemies all over again...

The Trap

Beverley Kendall - 2014
Paige didn’t like that I went so far away to university. But it was going to only be for two years. She'd join me after she did her two years at community college. I thought we could swing that no problem. We were solid. But she hated the distance. She hated not seeing me every day. She complained that I didn’t come home enough. She hated that for months on end, texting and phone calls were our only form of communication. It wasn’t enough. She'd ask about the girls on campus. She’d gotten it into her head that girls were always making a play for me. I laughed and told her, even if that were true, I’d never cheat on her. She didn't seem completely reassured by that. The bottom line is, Paige thought she was losing me. She wanted me home with her. But I could never imagine the level she'd sink to—the trap she’d set to make that happen. And like an idiot I walked right into it.And it’s a mistake I'm going to have to pay for the rest of my life.

Zoey's Christmas Surprise

Lynn Richards - 2012
Huge family gatherings, lots of presents beneath the tree, and food spilling from the dining room and kitchen tables. But this year she was a thousand miles from home in a city full of strangers. If that wasn’t bad enough, everywhere she looked there were couples.Couples shopping together; couples going out to parties; couples kissing beneath the mistletoe.Blah, blah, blah, blah, blahIt brought home to her what she was missing. Someone very special to share all the festivities. She wanted a man of her own. She wanted a family. She wanted a chance to be a little bit naughty. She’d resigned herself to spending the holidays all alone until her interfering older brother sent her a Christmas surprise.Nick Strong knew agreeing to do this favor for his best friend might end their friendship forever. But when he was asked to make sure Zoey Wilson didn’t spend Christmas all alone, he couldn’t say no. He’d lusted after the woman for years, her plus sized figure kicking his libido into overdrive every time she got near.Trouble was he didn’t think his best friend would approve of how Nick planned on making sure the curvaceous black haired beauty didn’t wake up all alone on Christmas morning. This is a short erotic story of approximately 9,500 wordsWARNING: This material is intended for mature audiences only. It contains explicit language, holiday romance and a happy-ever-after.EXCERPT:It was four days before Christmas and he had accomplished what David wanted – Zoey would not be alone for the Christmas holidays. He just hoped his best friend would understand when he found out how Nick planned on fulfilling his promise. On his way to her apartment, he’d stopped and bought another bouquet of roses along with a bottle of wine. He didn’t know what they’d be having for dinner, but he knew for a fact what he planned on having for dessert.Zoey spread out before him with the wine running in rivulets across her breasts and down her mound. He wanted nothing more than to lick her from head to toe and taste all those sweet places in between. She greeted him at the door dressed in a tight pair of jeans clinging to her bottom like a loving hand. Her sweater was made of a light weight knit with a layered collar and a neckline that plunged down the middle of her chest, revealing the sides of her breasts. If she had on a bra, he could detect no sign of it.“So are you ready for this pity date?”Nick stepped across the threshold and backed her against the wall before the words left her mouth. “Let me make one thing perfectly clear. This is not a pity date. This is a date with a man who finds you very, very attractive. Understand?”He moved closer, allowing her to feel the affect she was having on him. He’d spent every day since David had asked him to look up his baby sister in a constant state of arousal. Her eyes widened and he almost rethought his whole plan. This was David’s little sister. A woman who was almost ten years his junior. A woman who probably had very limited experience in the bedroom. He knew she hadn’t dated much before college, and he’d only ever heard of one serious relationship during college. Granted, he’d tried not to listen to the details about her life, but he was pretty certain David, being the overprotective big brother that he was, would have told him all about it.“Any more questions?” Looking at her flushed face and beautiful brown eyes he realized he’d been a stupid, stupid man not to have pursued this attraction years ago.
