The Son of Man

C.W. Johnson - 2009
I read Hal Lindsey's 'The Late Great Planet Earth' a hundred times. One thing that struck me, even back then…how could this happen? The Antichrist character is one of the most studied characters in the Bible. We are told in very graphic detail how this man will bring the world to its very knees…so with everyone diligently watching out for him, how could he possibly pull it off? This series is my humble attempt at a possible answer to that question. The Son of Man series is the story of the End of the Age as told through the eyes of both a secular world and a sleeping, unprepared religious community. It is sometimes gritty with MILD profanity and outrageous behavior. While true followers of Christ (some not so flawless) are represented in all four books they are not dominant characters in the story…that is, until the end. For that reason I have specifically refrained from labeling this series as 'Christian Fiction' until the last book in the series was released. As with any fictional story dealing with the second coming of Christ, I have expounded upon and speculated on Biblical prophecy. Rest assured, I have made every attempt to mold my story around the Prophetic Word rather than the other way around. I can tell you this: if you are a Christian, and you believe Christ could return in a test tube, you really need to catch up on your prophetic studies. This is only one aspect of the story that may not, and should not, fit your prophetic mold, but I ask you to consider: What if you're being lied to? What if you're being manipulated in an effort to throw you off track… "For there shall arise false Christ’s, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect"....Matthew 24:24 Excerpt ... The room fell silent. Jim looked at the men sitting around the table. “You people can’t be serious,” he said softly. “Even though such a thing could be done your premise is utterly flawed. A clone of Jesus won’t make him Jesus. He’d be a twin—“ “No,” Bishop Hickie interrupted. “You don’t understand. He would be another son of God.” Jim closed his eyes and shook his head. “Look… all due respect to… everyone—but cloning human beings is a major negative. You should know that. It’s illegal now, and for damn good reason. Each animal cloned today represents hundreds of failures. Most clones are stillborn. The ones that live are likely to have horrendous mutations, many of which manifest later in life, usually killing the animal prematurely. What are we gonna do with the mutated baby Jesus’— throw them away? And what happens if we are successful, and we get a perfectly healthy baby? What then? What kind of life can he have? For the love of God … people won’t understand. People will think he’s Jesus!”

Beyond Kuiper: The Galactic Star Alliance

Matthew Medney - 2020
There is no question on sentience. The galaxy is alive, filled with life, the only issue, us humans aren’t invited. The Galactic Star Alliance awaits your exploration. We acknowledge the vastness of time, the cyclical nature of civilization; and the obscurity of our own history. When we began debating “why hasn’t sentient life has been found in our galaxy?” All those years back, we were among the era of exoplanets. Every week it seemed NASA would announce a new outpouring of worlds, all vastly beyond reach, but each recalculating the likelihood of potential Earths. But to us, the numbers seemed staggering, compelling, surely there are others. So if our galaxy is full of sentient life, we thought of a simple, logical reason why no one has said hello: no one wants to. Stepping back and casting an objective eye on ourselves, it seems painfully obvious that humans lack a fundamental respect for their planet and each other. They possess extremely short memories and long grudges, and the idea of giving them the motivation or tools to hasten their expansion seems downright foolhardy. That being said, who are these judges? From that simple notion birthed a million questions; How is faster than light possible? Could you have cohesive interstellar civilizations without it? How could you even govern a coalition of not different countries, but of species? Each question only created another, and each answer built our world piece by piece until it spanned thousands of answers and millions of lightyears. As for the title, from where would our judges watch us?- Matthew is the CEO of Heavy Metal Entertainment that encompasses Heavy Metal Magazine & all other media ventures. As well, Matthew has been an Adjunct Professor at NYU, teaching classes on IP Creation and Digital marketing strategy and John is an aerospace engineer for Lockheed Martin who performs mechanical design for NASA deep space missions. with 3 satellites using his designs currently orbiting our planet. All science in the book is accurate and the theoretical science is backed up by science theory. No assertions in these works is fanatical.

What she finds is a galaxy teeming with life, worlds beyond imagining, and two terrible truths: Earth is in danger, and the portals are a one-way trip. Caleb Wachter - 2014
With twenty years of military service under his belt, it was time to settle down on a colony somewhere and start the next phase of his life. But without warning, the Empire of Man withdrew its support of the Confederated Spineward Sectors, taking the vast majority of high-value military assets - including capable officers - with it. The would-be retiring Lieutenant Commander was improbably given a field commission of Captain, and tasked with a simple 'wave the flag' operation by his even more improbable commanding officer, Admiral Jason Montagne. So Captain Middleton set out to patrol the adjacent Sectors, and carry out his orders to the best of his ability. But, as is so often the case, one thing leads to another and Middleton finds himself and his ancient warship, the Pride of Prometheus, caught in quandary after quandary as the shadows of a Sector-wide conspiracy loom wherever they turn. The further down the rabbit hole he goes, the less he likes what he finds and his simple patrol mission soon turns into something much, much larger. With a crew of rookies and society's unwanted - including a pair of teenagers from a world very different from his own - Captain Middleton will discover one simple, incontrovertible truth: In life, there is no middle ground.
