    Elizabeth refers to her helper as her guardian angel, and Darcy calls his mother. Elizabeth is invited by her uncle and aunt Gardiner to travel to Ramsgate with them during the summer. While there, Elizabeth befriends young Georgianna Darcy, and this friendship leads to many changes in both Georgianna and Elizabeth's lives. This friendship also leads to changes in the life of Fitzwilliam Darcy as well.

    Bingley finds out that he is to host the annual harvest dance. It seems like a daunting task, but fortunately he has the assistance of Mrs. Bennet and her daughters, the eldest of whom enchants him. The planning of the august event and the course of true love both run smoothly, but pandemonium breaks loose once the full moon rises. Many more people turn up than were first expected, among them Mr. Darcy, who finds more than he bargained for under the harvest moon.

    The girl is Miss Georgiana Darcy, and Elizabeth begins an acquaintance with her and her brother that leaves Elizabeth thoroughly charmed. She is even more delighted to find, upon her return to Hertfordshire, that Mr. Darcy is among the party now settled at Netherfield. Mr. Darcy’s regard for Elizabeth is obvious—but so, too, is his disgust toward her family. When he discovers that his attentions toward Elizabeth have given rise to a general expectation of their mutual attachment, he determines it best to create distance between himself and the captivating young lady he met in Lambton. But the arrival of an old adversary causes greater anxiety and distress, and Mr. Darcy must learn whom he can trust and what is truly important.

    Both sisters are hurt after Mr. Bingley’s hasty departure from Netherfield, although their suffering differs. One of them is trying to mend her broken heart and the other one tries to soothe her anger against those who hurt her sister. Jane and Elizabeth are unexpectedly reacquainted with the men who will change their lives forever. “In a More Amiable Light” is the first Austenesque attempt of a man who has been in love with reading and with Jane Austen’s books all his life but has tried his pen only in other genres so far. The author hopes the readers will give this story a try, so he gains enough courage for another longer and more complex project.

    Darcy to know each other better and amend their harsh first impression. Miss Bennet’s unguarded behaviour, outspoken and obstinate nature, headstrong opinions and unladylike inclinations for solitary walks do not meet with Mr. Darcy’s image of an accomplished lady. But a pair of fine eyes on a pretty face, a loyal heart, a witty mind and a teasing smile will soon defeat his resistance and overcome his opposition, inducing him to pursue Elizabeth's friendship and then her love. The first lesson he will learn in the process is that taming a wild temper is not an easy task. “Fine Eyes, Wild Temper” is a sweet, novella-length story of approximately 20.000 words, clean and low angst, recommended to those who love Elizabeth, Darcy and pets.
