    Whilst my story does not follow that plot, I wanted to write a tale about an angel who helps Elizabeth Bennet one bleak Christmas. Can Mr Darcy recover his memory before he is manipulated by those around him who would seek to take advantage of his vulnerable state?     Darcy did not insult Elizabeth Bennet at the assembly but another and she overheard it? How would their acquaintance change as a result? The Bennets are not quite how they appear and misunderstandings cause some heartaches for our favorite characters for a short while.
