The Summer Tour
Mandy Melanson - 2020
It’s impossible to tell one face from the next when I’m up there. The mixture of fog, lights, flashing lasers, my astigmatism, and whatever else they put into the air to keep the crowd happy… It’s all just a mix for a big bunch of blurry fuzzy whatnots. She was not a whatnot. She stood out in her ripped black jeans and that adorable neon yellow thing holding her hair up out of her face. I don’t even know what it’s called, but it was perfect. She was perfect. The bright pink tank top that hugged her in all the right places. Those bright yellow heels that made her back curve in just the right way. Those were definitely factors that caught my eye, but it's not why I can't get her out of my head. Her dark brown eyes and that smile—her smile. That’s it. That smile had me hooked from the second I ran on stage. I even stopped short of my mark and totally threw off the spotlight tracker. Why?Because I was too busy watching her and how she just fell into the rhythm of the music. It’s a good thing Chuck didn’t plan any pyro for tonight, or I might have been screwed.I’m not even entirely sure I sang the right lyrics to the first couple of songs. It was more a series of barely audible grunts, caveman style. Nash probably turned his mic up to help with the background vocals. They’ve all gotten really good at covering my ass over the years. I’m grateful the crowd didn’t seem to notice. All I could think about was trying to figure out a way to find out who she is. I still have nothing. So I’m sitting here like a lost, lonely little puppy just hoping to catch another glimpse. What if she leaves and doesn’t come through the line? I can see both Exit doors from here. I’m watching those two doors like a pitbull watches the gate at a junkyard. Maybe I am a lost, lonely little puppy. No.I am a pitbull puppy. And just like that pitbull, I will jump this table and bulldoze whoever gets in the way if I have to.

With all the harm Max’s family has caused, can Lauren box up and bury the past to have a dream Christmas with Max? Or, will she need a Christmas miracle? Up to Snow Good is not your typical small-town, holiday romance. Angst and treachery hide in every corner. It’s a holiday Romeo and Juliet with a happy ending.
Wrangling His Best Friend’s Sister
Leslie North - 2019
He owes his best friend a favor. Neither expected to end up in bed together… Reluctantly returning to her hometown, single mom Ava Pearson just wants a job to get her back on her feet and escape again. But when she asked her brother for help, the last place she thought she’d end up was in the office of his jaw-droppingly-hot best friend. Branson Beckett needs help, but if comes in the form of firecracker Ava, he’ll have to pass—he doesn't need that kind of distraction, especially now. He’s the owner of a ranch on the brink of expansion and is looking for a few good ranch hands to help him out. However, he wasn’t thinking of his best friend’s little sister when it came to hard labor. No, he’d thought of her in other hard situations, but they usually involved his great big bed. Dreams that had no place in reality. But her brother calls in a favour and he can’t not help a single mom out—his own mom raised him better than that. Plus Branson does need her help interviewing his ranch hands. It’s a win-win. He’ll fix his personnel problem, and she’ll get the cash she needs to move back out. Definitely no romance. Yet as personnel issues lead to personal pleasure between them, Ava’s big city dreams begin to drift away, replaced by visions of a family in the country with a hunky cowboy. Branson loves having Ava and her son on the ranch, but can he finally see her as the woman of his dreams, instead of off-limits? This novel contains sexual content and profanity.
Caught Up in Love
Weston Parker - 2019
Having made a billion dollars by twenty-nine, I decided to retire. Build a boat. Back where life started in my small town on the lake. My days of one-night stands are hopefully behind me. I’m ready to find the girl who has a big heart she’s willing to give away. And I found her, but she’s tainted by her past. Seems life has dealt her a few too many blows, and rich guys aren’t her thing. They aren’t mine either. Ha! Looks like we have something in common. But this girl… she’s the one. I can feel the truth of it coursing through my veins. And if nothing else, the way she looks at me. She wants me. I’ve never been more sure of anything. There may be a million fish in the sea, but I only see one option. Her. Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~Weston
