Planet Urth 2-Book Boxed Set
Jennifer Martucci - 2016
It’s dangerous, deadly. Inhuman creatures rule the planet. Animals have mutated. The land is hostile. But it’s all I’ve ever known. Hunger. Fear. Panic. Those emotions are my reality. They are my every day. I am Avery, and I am seventeen. My father died a year ago. Since then I’ve been responsible for my eight-year-old sister, June. I worry we are the only humans left. Humans have been hunted for centuries, to the brink of extinction. I must fight each day to protect my sister. It is the reason I wake, the reason I breathe. But how long can I go on fighting? How long will it be before they find us? More than two hundred years into the future, human beings are an endangered species. The planet has been battered by war, its inhabitants plagued by disease and death. Few humans survived and remained unaffected. Most changed dramatically and evolved into something else entirely. Irrevocable alterations caused by chemical warfare have created a new species. North America is in ruins and has been overtaken. Humanity has fallen at the hands of mutants known as Urthmen. Seventeen year-old Avery is alive and unchanged. But she has not been immune to the harshness of the new world. She has lived on the run for much of her life, in terror. After losing her father, Avery is the sole guardian of her eight-year-old sister, June. Avery is now charged with June’s safety as well as her own, a nearly impossible task. Forced to hide deep in the forest and away from the cities overrun by Urthmen, Avery and her sister are constantly hunted. Danger awaits them at every turn. They fear they are the only human beings left, that they are the last of their kind. But are they truly alone? Planet Urth: The Savage Lands (Book 2) After fleeing the only refuge she’s known for much of her life, Avery, along with her sister June and new friends, Will, Oliver and Riley forge through the forest to uncharted territory in search of a better life, in search of other survivors. But Avery soon learns that life beyond the woods is far worse than she ever imagined. She finds that safety does not exist for human beings in a world run by Urthmen. Hope seems futile. But Avery refuses to surrender hope and chooses, instead, to push forward and move her group into the heart of danger, to seek out more humans. Will she and the others survive their journey into the savage lands of Planet Urth?

America Dark: Post-Apocalyptic EMP Survival Fiction
Keith Taylor - 2018
For years his prepper father had warned him that it was only a matter of time; that eventually someone would be crazy enough to push the button and plunge the US into the darkness. Shep thought he was prepared for the chaos to come. He thought he knew exactly what to do. He was wrong. Abi Ross had no idea when she boarded her train from D.C. to Charlotte that her July 4th was about to go off the rails, literally. She had no clue that she'd soon find herself stranded in rural Virginia, injured and alone, awaiting a rescue that would never come. Could you survive with nothing but the contents of your pockets? When the lights flicker out for the last time Jim and Abi will find out if they have what it takes to survive, stripped of the bubble wrap and cotton wool of modern society. How far will they go to keep breathing? Who will they save? Who will they leave behind to die? And what will they do when they learn that the attack has only just begun? AMERICA DARK is the first book of the Willow Falls EMP survival series, a thrilling tale of what's to come: a war against an enemy the United States is woefully ill-prepared to face. AMERICA DARK was previously published in 2017 as PULSE, book one of the Little Rocket Man series. Praise for PULSE: In one word: terrifying. If you weren't already afraid of the prospect of an EMP attack from North Korea... well, you soon will be. From page one you get the impression that this is something that not only COULD happen but something that WILL happen. I've no idea of the actual danger of an EMP attack, but the author makes me feel like we've been lucky to survive this long without one. -- BroadHorizons I'm not a worrier at heart, but reading this gave me the chills. I don't want to give away any of the plot but the buildup to the EMP attack really does feel as if it could happen in real life. In this respect I found Pulse very similar to my favorite Keith Taylor novel, This is the Way the World Ends, which explained the buildup to a zombie apocalypse in such incredible detail that I read most of the book while hiding behind my couch. --Chasmmm When I started reading the chapter about the North Koreans ceasing their nuclear program and asking for face to face peace talks with the U.S., I really wondered if this came straight out of a current newspaper or CNN. Spooky! The realistic possibility of the North Koreans hitting us with an EMP has been on my mind a lot lately. I know you had to have written this months ago, but the fact that your fiction has become fact, at least so far, makes the whole story all the more prophetic and too real. --Kindle Customer

Trying to Survive (Part 1)
C.J. Crowley - 2016
Crowley brought me to my knees with this trilogy. And when an author can make me hold my breath, I'm reading a book that stretches my emotions and imagination to the point where I felt like I ran far and fast." "Great series. Now in my top five zombie stories. Up there w/ Mark Tufo, RR Hayward to name just a couple." "Loved this series. The author is not afraid to lose characters so be prepared, but it is realistic and well written." They hunt like wolves. Their speed and strength tear away at any hope for survival, just as their teeth do flesh. The few cursed to maintain their humanity will need more than weapons and clever ideas to escape the gruesome fates attached to even a single mistake. The night it began, all we could do was listen to the chaos. The sirens, car crashes, gunshots and never ending cries for help resonated throughout the neighborhood like a symphony of evil – rising up from hell itself. There was no warning. “Why couldn’t it be like it is in the movies?” *Now professionally edited/proofed* *Paperback now available* 18+ Only - Gore/Violence/Language - Aprrox. 36,000 Words - 150 Pages in print form.
