The Admirable Life Of Mother Mariana, Volume I
Manuel Sousa Pereira - 1790
Manuel Sousa Pereira. The story and prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success are inseparable from the person of Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres (1563-1635), a Conceptionist religious in Quito, Ecuador. Our Lady asked her to become an expiatory victim for the impurity, heresies, and blasphemies that would be unleashed on the Church in the 20th century. She agreed, thus linking herself to our times in a special way.Her extraordinary life and the revelations she received were written in 1790 by Fr. Pereira, a Franciscan priest she appeared to 150 years after her death. This is Volume I of his work, presented for the first time in English. The devotion to Our Lady of Good Success has been approved by the Church since 1611.Translated by Marian T. Horvat, Ph.D.
